Join the SENG MODEL PARENT GROUP (SMPG) where parents of gifted/2e children can speak freely about their concerns and seek support from others who have similar experience. You will learn to meet your child’s unique social-emotional needs through our weekly topics.

6 Weeks of Virtual Group

Every Thursday Morning

For Parents With Gifted/2E Children

       Week 1: Characteristic of Gifted children

       Week 2: Misdiagnosis, LD and ADHD in Gifted

      Week 3: Communication and Relationships

       Week 4: Motivation and Underachievement

       Week 5: Intensity, Perfectionism, and Stress

       Week 6: Idealism, Unhappiness, and Depression

Price: $300 for 6 weeks group ($400 for both parents) plus the cost of the book

All participants need to purchase the book, A Parent’s Guide to Gifted Children, by James Webb, et al. More resources for supporting the gifted can be found at www.sengifted.org

Wendy Lang, LMFT is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and the founder and director of Beverly Hills Child and Family Counseling in Southern California. She has over 20 years of experience working with children and families with ADHD, social and emotional issues. She specializes in working with gifted and twice-exceptional children, teens, and young adults. Her clinic offers several ongoing Social-Emotional learning groups for gifted across different life span and support group for parents.
